Mr. and Mrs. Grafton Brinkelow and baby were recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sealock and family. Mrs. Bertha North was an over night guest last Thursday of the Sealock family.
Mr. and Mrs. Hubie Gilkey, Bert, Kim and Kelly Gilkey attended a picnic at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Wines on the Strasburg Road Saturday evening.
Mrs. LeMerle Williams visited Mr. and Mrs. “Sonny” Williams Saturday in Manassas.
Mrs. Minnie Williams, Mrs. Dorothy Corder, Bobby Williams and daughter Patty, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Leake and daughter Terry were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Williams. The Leake family is spending this week with them.
The Chester Gap Fire Department responded to a fire in the home of Mrs. Eileen Davis last Wednesday night. There was extensive damage to the kitchen and considerable heat and smoke damage to the rest of the house. The Front Royal fire department was also called as a precautionary measure.
