Dr. and Mrs. John Turner and two children Mary and Lewis arrived Saturday from Norwich, Vt. at the home of Dr. Turner’s mother Mrs. L. J. Turner. Dr. Turner has completed a year’s study at Dartmouth College and will begin a three year’s residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Dr. and Mrs. Turner spent several days this week in Chapel Hill with their children remaining with Mrs. Turner.

Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Palmer attended the Putney-Wilkins wedding in Richmond Saturday and were overnight guests of Mr. Palmer’s brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. N. R. Neblett at their home on the James River, near Smithfield.

Guests from Thursday until Monday of Mrs. Henry M. Keyser were Mrs. Lily Barber and daughter Mrs. A. R. Armstrong of Williamsburg. Miss Page Williams of Winchester was a Saturday night supper guest. Sunday guests for a cookout supper were Mr. . and Mrs. H. Magruder Keyser and
