Through the perseverence of John McDevitt of Culpeper, the Rappahannock Jaycee Chapter was organized several years ago. At the meeting last Thursday of the chapter, Mr. McDevitt was given an honorary membership to the club. He was presented a certificate of membership and an engraved desk set in appreciation of the extensive assistance which he had rendered. Sonny Brown made the presentation as Mrs. McDevitt looks on. Appreciation was also extended George H. Davis HI, who could not be present, for securing the charter for the group.
