Conservation Camp

Last week Richard Gore and ] had the opportunity to attend 4-H Conservation Camp al Virginia Beach
This was a week of fellowship and learning. About 180 senioi 4-H’ers were present. Partia scholarships for each camper wen provided by Charles Home of th« Federal Cartridge Corporation ir Minneapolis, Minn. Richard and appreciated the Farm Bureau o Rappahannock County payini the balance of our camp fee.
Our fine instructors came fron V. P. I. and the U. S Conservation Service.
I learned many helpful an< interesting things about wildlife soil, water, forestry, entomology and social sciences.
Besides taking classes, we had 1 lot of fun. Everyday before luncl and dinner we went to the bead for an hour.
