Campfire. All the campfire meetings were really wild. Each tribe had to have a cheer and a song. If a tribe had a challenge they would present it and see if anyone could do the same. Thursday night each tribe had to have a skit. Our skit was called “West Sand Story”. I was one of the dancers. Friday night we had a talent show. Spending a week at 4-H Conservation Camp made me realize the importance of appreciating and understanding our natural resources.
This camp is the best camp I have ever been to and, if possible, I would like to go back next year. An experience like this really encourages a 4-H member to try “To Make The Best Better”.

from Page 1) featured the Honor “H” ceremony. At this time five junior campers and 5 leaders were chosen as one of the outstanding ten is indeed an Honor. Because of her cooperation and contribution to the camp’s programs, Brenda Printz was chosen to represent the Heart “H”. Those Club members attending camp were: Douglas Ricketts, Dorothy Walters, Diane Williams, Susan Latham, Samuel Wigington, Susan Baldwin, Charla Ann Sisk David Thornhill, Mary N. Butler, Carol Jackson, Shelia Fritts, Deloris Gibbs, Vanda Hope McDonald, Larry Smoot, Lewis Atkins, Mike North and Hilda Walters. Extension Agents, Diane Brown and Stuart Pratt accompanied the group.
