Midshipman 2/c Page Moffett who has spent the last three weeks in NROTC training at M Little Creek returned home Thursday and was accompanied from Norfolk by his father W. F. Moffett, Jr. On Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Jr., Page and Carter Moffett will leave to spend several days sightseeing in Charleston, S. C. where their son CT/2 Frank Moffett is stationed at the Naval Base. Frank will return with them on Monday to spend a two weeks leave at their home on Gay Street. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Thomas entertained at dinner on last Tuesday evening. Their guests were Mrs. Sena Maphis oi Horsehead, N. Y., Mrs. Kate Judd, Mrs. Edith Judd and daughter Linda and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Judd of Elkin, N. C. On Sunday their dinner guests were Mrs. Vivian Griffin and Owen Ramey of Fairfax and Mrs. Clarice Doss of Richmond. Sunday guests of Mrs. Janie Beahm were Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Rudacille and Mrs. Eston Hall ol Li me ton and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Smedley of Washington, D. C. Mrs. D. M. Saunders of Macon. Ga. arrived Thursday and is the guest of her nephew Charles B. Palmer and Mrs. Palmer at Scuffle Hill.
