For a number of years our speaker has served on the Y. M. i C. A. Board at Charleston, and i also as Chairman of the Franke i Home Board, a Lutheran Home for old people in Charleston. He ! is a member of a TV panel i presenting a weekly program on , TTie Sunday School Lesson of the International series of Sunday i School lessons.
He is married to the former i Miss Mary Martin of Newberry, S. C. and they have three daughters; Mrs. Fredna Belue, of Springfield, Va., Mrs. Margene Fetner of Georgetown, S. C., and Miss Phyllis Dufford living in Huntsville, Ala.
In 1956 he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Divinity by Newberry College.
Dr. Dufford attended the convention of the Lutheran World Federation in Hanover, Germany in 1952 and traveled in a number of other countries in Europe.
A cordial invitation is extended to the public to attend the vespers on the lawn of the Luray Singing Tower at the Sunset hour next Sunday.
