The Flint Hill Fire Department’s Annual Carnival starts next week on July 31 and runs through August 3. On Wednesday night, attendance prizes of $100, $50, and $25 will hr- awarded
A Grand Parade is scheduled for Thursday night, August 1, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Parade will feature as Grand Marshal the lovely Miss Beverley Byrd, the daughter of U. S. Senator and Mrs. Harry F. Byrd. Special guests will include Miss Michele Patrick, “Miss American Teen-Ager,” the newly crowned “Miss Virginia,” Miss Cherie Davis, and “Miss Shenandoah Apple Blossom," Miss Jan Minnich The Parade will be led by the U S.
