Game Law Violators
A total of 7,966 persons were arrested for various violations of the game, fish and boat laws during the 1967-68 fiscal year, reports Assistant Game Commission Law Enforcement Chief R. S. Purks. This is slightly above the 7,844 arrested the [previous year. Fishing infractions
|again led the list with 4,076 .apprehended, a marked increase lover the previous year’s total of 3,385. Hunting arrests totaled 2,692, down slightly from the previous year. The 1,184 arrests for boating violations were about the same as last year’s record.
