Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Cave and son Earl of Banco entertained with a picnic on Skyline Drive on Sunday recently. They also hiked to Dark Hollow Falls. Those attending the picnic were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cave and son Charles and Mrs. Effie Ryder and daughters Dorothy and Shirley of Madison, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Cave, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fincham and daughter Peggy of Slate Mills. Last Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fincham and Peggy and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Cave spent the day at Colonial Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Brice Biggers of Roily Spring Farm returned home an Monday after a two week’s rip in Georgia and Florida. They eft August 6 to attend the ’uneral of Mr. Biggers’ sister Mrs. Dempie Biggers Teal of Covington, Ga. Relatives visited were Mr. Biggers’ niece Mrs. Samuel Rush and Mr. Rush of Boca Raton, Florida, and others n Macon, Atlanta, Decatur, Sandy Springs and Starrsville, Ga. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Jenkins were their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. George Jenkins of Culpeper and their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Granville Smith of Boston.
Sp/4 Edward B. Dorsey of the 15th Evacuation Hospital at Fort Belvoir spent the weekend with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Clarence B. Dorsey.
