Miss Harwick, Mr. Martin Feted with Buffet
Mr. and Mrs. Paul D. Summers entertained with cocktails and a buffet dinner Sunday, August 18 at their home The Shade near Washington, Va. Guests of honor were Miss Leslie Anne Harwick of New Town Square, Pa. and Nathaniel Macon Martin II of Darian, Conn, whose engagement was recently announced. Miss Harwick and Mr. Martin are both seniors at the University of Pennsylvania. He is the grandson of Mr. Summers. A wedding is planned for spring following their graduation in May.
The bride elect and her fiance received the best wishes of the more than 115 guests present for the buffet. It was served in the dining room of The Shade and eaten at tables laid with colorful cloths under a large awning on the lawn.
