Mist Davis Honored With Bridal Showers
Mis. T. M. Johnston and daughter Miss Kaye Johnston were hostesses at a linen shower Saturday afternoon at their home on Gay Street honoring Miss Dorothy Taylor Davis whose marriage to Reverdy Jones, III will take place on the evening of August 24.
Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones and Miss Segar Jones entertained at buffet supper Sunday at their home Delamore in honor of Miss Davis and Mr. Jones. Others in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, jr., Mrs. Park Dickerson, Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, III, Miss Kaye Johnston. Miss Dana Snead, Mrs. L. J. Turner, Mrs. William S. Dewhirst. Dr. Reverdy Jones, jr., of Fairmont, W. Va., Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Clifton of Alexandria and Mr. and Mrs. Quenton McCoy.
