Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Jr., Frank and Page Moffett spent Friday with Mrs. Moffett’s parents the Rev. and Mrs. C. E. Buxton in Springfield. In the afternoon Frank left by plane from National Airport to return to Charleston, S. C. after spending a two week’s leave at the home of his parents on Gay Street.

Miss Peggy Palmer will leave this weekend for Richmond where she has accepted a teaching position in the Thomas Jefferson High School • Department of English. Stewart Palmer spent from Friday until Monday at Virginia Beach. Mrs. C. G. Reid entertained at picnic supper Sunday for a family reunion. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas B. Reid and three children of Bartlesville, Okla. who are visiting his mother, Capt. and Mrs. C. G. Reid of New York, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Reid and three sons of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Bowie of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller of Flint Hill, Mrs. F. Downing Wood and daughter Frances, Miss Mary Miller Wood and Mr. and Mrs. Quenton McCoy and two children, all of Washington and Dr. and Mrs. Edwin Eastham and daughter Lindsay of Front Royal.
