Dr. Miller is the son of the late State Senator and Mrs. John James Miller of Washington, Virginia. He is a graduate of Virginia Military Institute and did post graduate work at the University of Virginia. At onei time Dr. Miller was superintendent of schools for' Warren and Rappahannqck Counties. He is a former Stkte*' Superintendent of Public Instruction for the state of Virginia and is President of Madison College in Harrisonburg.
Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was held at the North Carolina Country Club in Southern Pines. I
