Monday marked the first collection day for the Magazine Campaign sponsored by the SCA. Tilings are off to a good start with $524.52 being collected. TTiis is a little above one third of the goal of $1,500.
Lizzie Gastham was high individual salesman with $52.87. TTiis netted for her a season’s pass to all the home basketball games. Martha O’Bannon won a box of Hershey candy with five dollars enclosed in the Monday kickoff drawing.
Mrs. Pomeroy’s Senior girls homeroom led the way with $109.95 collected. In the battle between the Juniors and Seniors the Seniors led, but are being challenged by the freshman class to top them. The freshman class had an overall sale of $178.76. Thursday, October 10, the college-bound Juniors and Seniors will travel to Warren County High School to participate in College Day.
