An operational and fiscal summary for Rappahannock County covering fiscal 1967-*58 w;ts presented the Board of Supervisors at the regular meeting Friday by Highway Resident Kngineer James K. Skeens. He stated the summary showed a balance which wil|pbe carried over into the coming year for use on county roads. The Board was advised by Mr Skeens that it would not bo possible for a crossover to be constructed at Payne's Oarage east ol Washington on the proposed dual laning project.
Mrs. Betty Coates representative for Ptedrnoni District, requested that Route 231 (FT. Valley) get more attention during snow removal. She fell this highway was not taken care of as well as other roads. 'Die Kngineer explained that this was not a ban* pavement road, but he would do all possible.
A report from L. H. Luttrell who had been appointed to investigate insurance on county buildings was made and the group agreed that extended coverage was necessary. Contents of the buildings should also be covered. Bids on the buildings and contents are to be secured from interested companies and insurance obtained by January TO.
