Number 6031 was sired by No. 3136 which had a calfhood growth rate of 2.24 lbs. per day and 3.19 lbs. on ROP.
Included in his pedigree are several familiar bulls such as Blackcap Stamp of Elkton 2, 1304552, Rock Delius 1404534 and Pointmere 1310 - Point Farm 2135919. The latter having been used successfully in the college herd at VPI where he sired winning steers on the show circuit in the east.

From comments made by several persons in Rappahannock County to the Extension home economist, it is felt that not ail residents understand the duties of an extension home economist, formerly referred to as a home demonstration agent. To take advantage of the service she offers to a county, the residents need to understand her duties. Therefore this article will attempt to describe an extension home economists role in a county.
