Not too many weeks ago I nade the following statement in this paper: “There, is no place 1 would rather live than in Rappahannock.” I feel even stronger about that statement today, for where else would I have found the many kind acts and attention from the very beginning of my accident all through these painful days?
It has been difficult to accept all of this kindness without writing each person. Since this is impossible, I would like, through you, to express my deep appreciation and thanks to all o those friends in Rappahannock and outsiders as well, for making my days worth living.
The kindness of the rescue squad boys, the beautiful flowers, gifts, visits, phone calls, cards, candies, and all the Christmas goodies including fruit and Christmas decorations and the assistance of friends, neighbors and relatives makes me realize that “my cup runnefh over” with blessings.
Thank you so very much. May your New Year be blessed in every day. Come to see me.
