Annandale, Mrs. Cary 'Thornhill, Mr. and Mrs. Ashby Thornhill and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thornhill and family, Mr. and Mrs. Brew Burke, Miss Peggy Burke and Harold Hawkins. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Butler and family spent the holiday week in Manassas with Mr. and Mrs. Stevens E. Butler and family. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Weaver were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Burke. Other guests were the Burke’s daughter Mrs. Emerson Bennett and sons Eddie and Tony of Alexandria. Dinner guests Christmas Day of Mr. and Mrs. Brew Burke and daughter Peggy were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Thornhill and daughter, Mrs. Lucy Thornhill, and Harold Hawkins of Boston, Ricky Hoffman of Culpeper and Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Burke of Annandale. Birth Announced
Lt. and Mrs. Rayner V. Snead, Jr., of Ft. Bragg, N. C. announce the birth of a son, Rayner Varser Snead, III, on December 24, 1968 at Womack Hospital. Ft. Bragg, N.C.
The baby’s grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lee Smith and Judge and Mrs. Rayner V. Snead, all of Washington, Va.
Amissville Auxiliary
Plans February Banquet
At the January meeting Tuesday night of the Amissville Ladies Auxiliary the group j decided to hold the annual firemens banquet on Friday, February 14. At this time local firemen, visiting firemen, local and visiting rescue squad personnel and other guests are entertained with a dinner and a program.
Plans were also made for serving the Amissville Ruritan Club dinner at the January meeting of the group next Wednesday.
Ahfout twelve members were
present for the meeting and a new member, Mrs. Levi Atkins," Jr. joined the group. Mrs. Peggy Bowen also attended as a visitor.
