Rock hill, South parolina, a college friend, was best man. Ushers were Jerry Diale Swain of Elkins, North Carolina, Richard Allen Gaskin of Lancaster, South Carolina, botft college friends.

For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Hodge chose a watermelon taslan shift with a jeweled neckline of white sequins and a white satin pillbox. Her corsage was of yellow roses. ^
Mrs. Magee, mother of the bridegroom, wore a three-piece suit of light green brocade and a white hat trimmed with green velvet. Her flowers were also yellow roses.
After a wedding trip to North Carolina, Mr. and Mrs. Magee are making their home in Charlottesville where Mrs. Magee is a senior at the University of Virginia Nursing School.
Mr. Magee is employed by Greene County Public School System. He is a 1968 graduate of Mars Hill College, Mars Hill, North Carolina. The bride is a former resident of Amissville. Mr. Hodge was pastor of Amissville and Forest Grove Baptist Churches for several years.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hitt of Castleton celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary on Sunday, December 29, 1968 and were honored with a dinner given ty their son-in law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Horace Scot^, at Vievtown. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Harry Woodward and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Gough and son of Brandy Station; Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Clatterbuck and sons of Manassas; Mr. and Mrs. Warren Smith of Amissville^ and Mr. end Mrs. James H. Settle and children of Castleton. _
