“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)
Ever since the day Pontius Pilate sounded the skeptic’s question, “What is truth?”, men have been searching for answers. Philosophers have failed to get to the heart of things. Scientists have done much in technology, but they have not explained the nature of the universe or the world.
The Bible believer sees the universe as God-centered. God has created it and He sustains it. All truth proceeds from Him. The earth serves a purpose in God’s plan as the habitation of man. But there is a problem - the cause of which is sin - because man is in rebellion against the will of God.
Jesus Christ came to solve the problem of sin and rebellion by revealing the love of God and dying on the cross for sinners. He is the way to God. He is the life because He gives eternal life. He is the truth in that He reveals God and brings men to God. Have you believed?
