Mr. and Mrs. Harold Scoggin and son Bill were week-end; visitors of Mr. Scoggin’s parents, | Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Scoggin in Greensboro, N. C. Mrs. C. H. White of Linden spent Saturday at the home of ■ Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller. Mrs. Dewey Hudson returned j to her home Friday from | Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Miss Dana Snead and Eric j Adamson, both of the University of Virginia, spent the week-end at the home of Miss Snead’s parents Judge and Mrs. R. V. Snead.

Mrs. L. H. Nightengale of Williamsburg was the guest from Friday until Monday of Mrs. Henry M. Keyser.

Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Palmer were in Alexandria Saturday to visit Mrs. Palmer’s mother, Mrs. J. A. Elmore.

Mrs. William L. Litsey returned to her home in Hampton on Monday after a week’s visit with her parents Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Smith and brother and sister-in law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lee Smith at Spring House Farm.

Sunday luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller at Mt. Prospect were the Rev. and Mrs. William M. Hargett and three daughters, Tricia, Nancy and Michele and Mrs. Elmo D. Flynt.

Mrs. Clarence Baldwin returned to Culpeper Memorial Hospital Sunday as a surgical patient.

Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser were in Luray last week called there by the death of Mrs. Keyser’s cousin Miss Polly Anne Simpson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Simpson. Funeral services were held on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke visited their son, C. Cletus Burke in Front Royal on Friday, who had recently returned home from the Winchester Memorial Hospital. Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Burke were Mr. and Mrs. William P. Hershey of Bristol, Pa. and Mr. and Mrs. William Bennett of Capitol Heights, Md.

Weekend guests of Mrs. J. M. Li Hard were her sister and niece, Mrs. Luther Coppege of Marshall and Mrs. John Heyl of Warrenton. Saturday callers of Mrs. Lillard and Mr. and Mrs. William A. Curtis were T. Haywood Manuel, Sr. and son T. H. Manuel, Jr. of Winchester.

J. Carroll Racer, Jr. entered Newton D. Baker Veteran's Hospital in Martinsburg, W. Va. on Friday where he remains a patient.
