Joe Williams and Albert Cameron attended the Firemen’s banquet at Warrenton last Friday night.
Mrs. Minnie Williams and Mrs. Lonnie Williams spent last Thursday in Washington, D. C.
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Leake and family of Sperryville were visitors Friday of Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Williams.
Mr. and Mrs. Bemie Burnette of Falls Church spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Williams. Other visitors during the week-end included Mr. and Mrs. Hubie Gilkey, Kim, Bert and Kelly Joe Gilkey, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sibert, Ray and Patty Sibert, Ray and Joe Priest and Maynard Williams.
Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Williams were business visitors in Winchester last Monday.
Mrs. Robert Brady and children of Flint Hill spent several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. George Williams while Mr. Brady was in Florida.
The Chester Gap Citizens Association was reorganized last Monday night. Officers elected were Mrs. LeMerle Williams, President; Mrs. Ella Frazier, Vice-President, and Mrs. Frances Williams, Secretary. The meetings will be the first Tuesday of each month.
A Fund Drive is being conducted in Chester Gap and vicinity for the Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad. All donations are greatly appreciated.
Dewey Cameron entered Warren Memorial Hospital Sunday morning, taken there by the Rescue Squad.
Mrs. Andrew R. Williams and Mrs. Buddy Williams have returned to their respective homes from Warren Memorial Hospital.
Clarence Jones entered Warren Memorial Hospital last week for treatment.
