Frustration
Proud grandfather Ed Sims who was visiting with the Perkins family in Sperryville recently took an ice chest full of Rappahannock snow to his grandson Jerry Braddock in South Carolina, for Jerry had never seen this natural phenomenon. Upon arriving in S.C., Grandpa Finds three inches of the white stuff blanketing the terrain. Now Jerry has really seen snow. Poor Grandpa. Who’s Joking?
At the recent dinner held to honor firemen in various areas of the county, the jokes flow freely, some prepared and some just happen. Following a tremendous dinner prepared and served by the women of Chester Gap, Trooper W. A. Buntin suggested that the ladies deserved a big hand. Before the applause could begin, one of the ladies from that area told him to follow her and she would show him where the dishpan was. Traffic Facts
