Miss Fran Garten of Long Island, New York, who currently holds the title of “Miss American Teen-Ager", will be among the special guests appearing in the Flint Hill Firemen’s Parade on Thursday, July 31st., at 7:00 p.m. Since winning the contest, Miss Garten has appeared on such television programs as Julia, Truth or Consequences, and the Joey Bishop Show. She also participated in the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California on New Year’s Day.
