The marriage of Miss Alta Geneva Capps to Roger Allen Welch was solemnized Saturday, July 12, 1969 at seven o’clock in the evening at Clifton Forge Christian Church The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Benjamin Capps of Clifton Forge. Mr. Welch is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Williai# Roland Welch of Mountain View Farm, Flint Hill. The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Norman Wasson before an altar decorated with white chrysanthemums, gladioli and palms. Tall candelabra held lighted tapers.
