Frost Seeks 10th Term As Delegate

Tom Frost, of Warrenton, who represents Fauquier, Warren and Rappahannock counties, in the state legislature is in line to become chairman of the powerful Appropriations Committee when the Assembly again convenes.

Mr. Frost, 64, who seeks his 10th term in the House of Delegates in the general election in November, is now ranking member of the Appropriations Committee.

The present appropriations chairman. Delegate John H. Daniel, 72, of Charlotte Courthouse, was defeated in last week’s Democratic primary by Reginald Pettus, 49, former Charlotte County commonwealth’s attorney. Delegate Daniel had served in the House 26 years

Mr. Frost, an auto dealer, has served in the House of Delegates since 1952. He is also chairman of the Agriculture Committee, member of the Rules Committee, longtime member of the Roads and Internal Navigation Committee, and the Interstaty Cooperation Committee
