Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Rowzie were the guests of the Rev. and Mrs. John H. Willis III in Famham from Saturday until Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Latham and daughter of Fredericksburg were guests for the day Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Barron and with them attended a cook-out Sunday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jenkins. Other guests of the Jenkins’ were Mr. apd Mrs. Franklin Woodward of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. William Printz. Mrs. Ethel Cooksey and Mrs. F. L. Bowey were visitors last Wednesday of Mrs. Annie Latham at Manassas Manor Nursing Home. On Friday Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Martin and Mrs. Clarence Cook, Harry and Fred Cook visited Mrs. Latham. Mark Walker of Culpeper accompanied by his dog, his rabbit and his hamster has been the guest of his grandmother Mrs. Ethel Cooksey for two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Braxton James and children David and Carolyn spent Sunday picnicking at Dickey Ridge on Skyline Drive.
Mrs. Paul Newton and daughter Michelle of Round Lake Park, 111. who spent last week with Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Riley, were joined Saturday by Mr. Newton and his nephew, David Newton of Ingleside, 111. Sunday the Rileys and their guests were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Byrne Walter in Warrenton and on Tuesday they were sightseeing in Washington, D. C. The Newtons will return to Illinois the end of the week.
Mrs. Noel Laing, Mrs. S. W. Riley and Mrs. Paul Newton and daughter Michelle were in Charlottesville Thursday and visited C. R. Walter. They toured Ashlawn and had lunch at the Boars Head Inn.
SSgt. David Streagle of Burton, S. C. arrived Thursday evening to join Mrs. Streagle and children Shannon and Marc at the home of her mother, Mrs. Sarah Latham land Susan where they had been ; spending a week. The Streagles,
