Christinas Programs

The Amissville Baptist Sunday School will present a Christmas program at the church on Sunday evening, December 21 beginning at 7:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

The Assembly of God, Sperry ville will present a Christmas Program “The Meaning of Christmas” in the church ont Tuesday, Dec. 23 at 7 p.m.

Miss Reba K. Pound who recently returned from the Holy Land will be the guest speaker and will show slides. The public is invited to attend.

The Willis Chapel Baptist Church Christmas Program will be held on Sunday night, December 14 at 8 o’clock.

Sperryville United Methodist Church will present the heart warming Christmas story of “Why the Chimes Rang” on Sunday, December 21 at 7:30 p.m. The public is cordially invited to attend.

At the Creative Craft Show sponsored by the Page County Home Demonstration Club held Friday, December 5, at the American Legion Hall in Luray the following Rappahannock County citizens were invited to demonstrate their crafts. Paul Miller demonstrated the making of candles, Mrs. Woodrow Bennett, pottery, Mrs. Helen Kilby, Decoupage, Mrs. Emmy Stone Allen, painting and watercolors and Mrs. Mary Cleverley, carving and weaving. Mrs. Cleverley also showed carvings done by Mrs. Dot Estes i who was not able to attend.
