Basketball action has returned again this year. The Panthers are well on their way to being great stars! Although they were defeated by Central and Turner Ashby, they played a fine game and showed great sportsmanship. Congratulations to the J. V. team for their fine performance. They downed the Falcons, but were downed by the Knights. This Friday night the Panthers will play Page County at the high school. The Sophomores are sponsoring a Christmas Dance, Saturday, December 13. Admission will be one dollar per person. There will be band, refreshments and contests, so plan to be there!

The S.C.A. held a meeting at which they decided to decorate the school for Christmas.

The F.H.A. is now selling zip code directories. They cost $1.00 a directory, and are well worth the cost. If anyone wishes to purchase one please contact any member of the F.H.A.

Congratulations to the Seniors for winning the “Spirit Stick”. They had the most participation at the recent games.

The F.H.A. members are in the process of making stuffed animals for the children at the Charlottesville Hospital. The officers plan to visit the children on Tuesday.

This week I will interview Susan Dodson and Thomas Walters. Susan plans to enter Berea College in Kentucky. She is a member of the Annual staff and the newspaper staff. Thomas plans to enter the Lord Fairfax Community College. He is s member of the K.V.G. Club.

P.S. Wednesday morning

OOPS, we did it again, or maybe I should say “we didn’t do it.” We didn’t win Tuesday night’s basketball game when we played Luray on their court. That’s OK that’s all right get in there and fight team fight.
