PFC Michael E. Welch, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. (Chicken) Welch of Flint Hill entered the Army on April 2, 1969, received his basic training at Fort Benning, Ga., has been stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas with the motor pool since June.
