Ida E. Sisk
y'K funeral service for Mrs. Ida Elizabeth Sisk of Remington was leld Monday at Geest Funeral :hapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper. The Rev. D. Ralph Fowler conducted the service. Mrs. Sisk, 76, widow of John William Sisk, died December 5, 1969 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Daughter of the late lames and Jane Deal, she was a native of Rappahannock County. She was a member of F. T. Baptist Church. Shee is survived by two sons, John T. Sisk and William A. Sisk, both of Culpeper; six daughters, Mrs. B. H. Weakley of Lignum, Mrs. Clifford Frazier of Rockville, Md., Mrs. Lewis Backe of Culpeper, Mrs. Frances Kinsey of Fredericksburg, Mrs. Preston Clatterbuck of Warrenton and Mrs. Albert Frazier of Remington; two step-daughters, Mrs. Lillie Jenkins of Remington and Mrs. Eggbom Ennis of Silver Spring, Md., 36 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Arnold Helm, Tom Reese, Dick McCarthy, William Embrey, Archie Edwards, Eddie Andes, Charles A. Bowen and F. Kay Rich, jr.
L. W. Peyton
A funeral service for Leonard White Peyton of Castleton was field Monday, December 1 at 11 a.m. at the graveside in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery at Woodville.
Mr. Peyton, 75, a blacksmith and farmer, died November 28, 1969 at his residence. He was a native of Rappahannock County, son of the late Joseph and Mary Eliza Brown Peyton.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura Campbell Peyton; two sons, Joseph Peyton of New York City and John Wilson Peyton of Harrisburg, Pa., four daughters, Mary Lawson and Mrs. Lillie Carter, both of Harrisburg, Pa., Mrs. Isabell Daniels of Rochester, N. Y. and Miss Laura Peyton of Cleveland, Ohio; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; also one brother Mark Peyton of Washington, D.C. and three sisters, Mrs. Lib Dennis of Castleton, Mrs. Olive Lee and Mrs. Wilber Duffan, both of Harrisburg, Pa.
