The Yearly Prayer W.M.U. Meeting was held on Thursday night at the home of Mrs. Raymond Johnson. Those attending were Mrs. Gale Titchenell, Mrs. James Falls, Mrs. H. B. Wood, Mrs. Clifton Clark, Mrs. Amos Butler, Mrs. Emory Conners, Mrs. Edward Brown, Mrs. Leslie Titchenell, Mrs. W. B. Johnson, and Miss Bridget Brown.
The Woodville Home Demonstration Club met on Tuesday night at the home of Mrs. Amos Butler. The topic was Sharing Christmas Ideas. Those present were, Mrs. Joe Daczewitz, Mrs. Kenneth Weakley, Mrs. H. B. Wood, Jr., Mrs. B. Gale Titchenell, Mrs. James Falls, Mrs. Raymond Johnson, Mrs. W. B. Johnson, Mrs. Maurice O’Bannon, Mrs. Emory Conners, Mrs. Clifton Clark, Mrs. Edward Brown, Mrs. Leslie TitcheneH, Miss Bridget Brown and Miss Sue Titchenell.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Brown and daughters were visitors on Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. A. Q. Craun in Orange.
Mr. and Mrs. Emory Conners were Sunday guests of Major and Mrs. Charles Grizzle in Fredericksburg. Monday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Conners were Mr. C. B. Cline and son Karl of Fredericksburg.
Mr. and Mrs. James Falls and son David were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Layton Falls in Warrenton. Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Clark and Misty were supper guests on Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Woodie Sheads in Rixeyville. The Clarks were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Verling of Rhoadesville. Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Burke and Mr. and Mrs. James Falls and David were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Burke in Front Royal. Later in the afternoon they attended a birthday party for Mary Anna Groves.
