Supervisors Approve
$2200 Sewer Study
When the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisor! convened Friday, January 2 for Its initial meeting of 1970, C. E. Johnson Jr., Chairman of the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority, requested that the county advance $2,200 to the Authority for an engineer’s study
a sewerage project for Sperry ville, and for minor expenditures. This request was ipproved.
J. N. Miller was elected as Chairman of the Board for the /ear and H. B. Wood was named tice-chairman with E. M. Jones as clerk.
Trash collection was again discussed with displeasure voiced it the present company, Kwick Klean, now operating. Lengthy discussion was all that materialized from the subject. Dog Warden Jack Bruce presented three claims for livestock killed by dogs and one sf them was approved to be Honored. Superintendent of Schools 0. A. Norton requested authority to pay for two school bus chassis provided delivery was guaranteed by July 1. This was approved and will show in the 1970-71 budget expenditures.
Two bills presented by the Rappahannock Welfare Department were approved for payment.
Carson B. Johnson of Sperry ville was named to serve on the local Highway Safety Committee and accounts were approved for payment before
