Marvin Renzie

Marvin Renzie of Flint Hill died December 22, 1969, at the age of 41.

He was bom In Warren County, a son of Nancy Baker Renzie, who survives, and Thornton Renzie.

Surviving with his mother are his wife, Clara Elizabeth Renzie; two sons, Marvin and Vemeall Renzie, and one daughter, Virginia Renzie, all of the home address; five brothers, James Renzie of Bluemont, Rutherford Renzie of Strasburg, Thornton Renzie, Jr., Chris Renzie and William Renzie, all of Front Royal; and one sister, Mrs. Violet Jackson of Front Royal.

A funeral service was conducted Sunday from the Robertshaw>Turner Funeral Home by the Rev. Fielding Davenport. Burial was in the cemetery at Success, Va.

Mrs. Margaret Dwyer

Mrs. Margaret Matilda Dwyer of Sperryville died Sunday, December 28, 1969 at her home.

A funeral service was held, Wednesday, December 31, at 1 p.m. at Geest Funeral Chapel, Culpeper, conducted by the Rev. James Adkins. Burial was in Washington Masonic Cemetery.

Mrs. Dwyer, 70, was the widow of John Thomas Dwyer and the daughter of the late John and Savilla Dodson Harrell of Rappahannock County. She is survived by three sons, Charles H. Dwyer of Woodbridge, James S. Dwyer, and John Thomas Dwyer, Jr., both of Sperryville; two daughters, Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Young of Arlington and Mrs. Grace Eileen Gagner of Sperryville and 12 grandchildren.

Mrs. James W. Green

Mrs. Helen Armstrong Green of Culpeper died December 29, 1969 at Sunset Haven Nursing Home. She was 77, the daughter of the late A. J. Armstrong and Lillian Miller Armstrong. She was the mother of/a family active in printing and newspaper business. Among the papers published are the Rappahannock News, Orange Review, Madison County Eagle land Greene County Record.

Survivors include four sons, Angus M. Green of Culpeper, R. Duff Green, Andrew J. Green and James W. Green, Jr., all of Orange; three daughters, Mrs. Nancy Moser and Miss Lillian Green, both of Orange and Mrs.

grandchild.

A funeral service was held at the graveside, in Fairview Cemetery on December 31 with the Rev. John Chappell officiating.

Clore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr*. Flossie Leake

Mrs. Flossie Lee Leake of Fredericksburg died at Mary Washington Hospital there on December 23, 1969. She was 59, the daughter of the late James Lud Jenkins and the late Elenora Sisk Jenkins of Peola Mills and a former resident of Rappahannock. She is survived by her husband, Robert Ray Leake of Falmouth, by four sons, Frank Thomas Leake, David Lee Leake and Carroll Richard Leake, all of Fredericksburg, and James Edward Leake of Spotsylvania; four sisters, Mrs. Nettie Pearl Jenkins, Mrs. Sam Fincham and Mrs. Meade Nichols, all of Sperryville and Mrs. Venie Jenkins of Culpeper; four brothers, Egbert Jenkins of Remington, Connor of Slate Mills, Cooper of Culpeper and Haywood, Elkwood; and 6 grandchildren.

Geest Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements and a service was held December 27 from Falmouth Baptist Church with the Rev. Warren Turner officiating and the Rev. R. A. Timbers assiting. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fredericksburg.
