Producers in Rappahannock County will receive notice of their feed grain bases and an explanatory leaflet on the 1970 feed grain program in January, according to H. S. Barksdale, Chairman of the Rappahannock County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation (ASC) Committee.
Sign-up period for the voluntary farm programs including wheat as well as feed grains - will be February 2 through March 20.
The 1970 feed grain program will be much like the 1969 program, the ASC committee chairman said. Provisions of the 1970 wheat program was announced earlier. Mr. Barksdale gave the following details on the feed grain program:
