Marriage Announced

Mr. and Mrs. Carl W. Dodson of Criglersville announce the marriage of their daughter, Glenda Mae, to Johnny Davis Brown of Sperryville. The marriage took place on December 30, 1969 at Madison with the Rev. C. B. Troutman performing the ceremony. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Richard Brown and the late Mr. Brown. The couple will make their home in Luray where Mr. Brown is employed.

High scorers were Mrs. Flynt and Mrs. Wood. Bingo was given to Mrs. Schaefer.

Mrs. Mary M. Quaintance and Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer were New Year’s Eve guests of the Rev. and Mr$. John Frizzell in Annandale and Mr. and Mrs. John Davis in McLean.

Mrs. Perle Coffey visited her nephew, Lyle Rector in the Winchester Memorial Hospital last Thursday.

Mrs. Louis Osborn of Cincinnati, Ohio, who spent two weeks with Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Montague, left on Sunday to visit her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George Newman in Culpeper.

Mrs. W. H. Cordle returned home this week after undergoing surgery in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

T/Sgt. and Mrs. James Swindler and family, who spent the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Swindler, left on Sunday for Langley Air Fprce Base in Newport News where T/Sgt. Swindler assumes new duties. They recently returned from Ankara, Turkey. Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Devers are spending this week in Front Royal with Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Devers and family.
