Architect’s rendering of the Hall of Valor Civil War museum and memorial now being built by Virginia Military Institute at New Market, Virginia. The museum, a combination of native Shenandoah Valley stone and weathering steel, is at the site of the legendary battle of New Market, where a company of teen-age VMI cadets helped turn the tide for the Confederate forces of Gen. John C. Breckenridge on May IS, 1864. The building will be completed next spring, with dedication scheduled for May 14.
