Garden Club Postponed
The Rappahannock Garden Club meeting postponed from January 21 will be held January 28 at the home of Mrs. Elmo D. Flynt, Washington, at 2 p.m.
Amiasville Boy Scouts
All boys who are 11 to 17 years old and interested in joining the Boy Scouts are invited to meet Thursday, tonight, at 7 p.m. at the home of the Rev. Charles Kindred in Amissville. At this time, the gear and equipment of Scout Tlroop 50, will be moved by the group to the Rappahannock Coon Club headquarters which will serve as a permanent meeting place for the troop.
Crafts Demonstration On Chair Bottoms
Sixteen members of the Arts and Crafts Group were present | for the^session held last Tuesday j and featuring a demonstration on I weaving rush bottom seats. As usual the group met at Cab Inn, Sperryville and providing instruction on weaving seats were Mrs. Mary Ann Vaughan and Miss Ann Vaughn, both of Luray.
Included in the business of the meeting was the approval of a membership fee of 50 cents per1 year.. The next meeting was set for January 27 at the home of Mrs. Helen Kilby in Sperryville with a demonstration on caning L’hairs. *" Mrs. Woodrow Bennett of Scrabble offered to instruct a L-ourse in ceramics and announced that anyone interested should call :>r contact her at 9H7 2107.
