Rappahannock County residents are reminded that both state and county 1971 tags must be displayed after midnight, April 15, and this date is rapidly approaching. According to state license agent, Wilson Burke of Sperryville, tag sales have been lagging.
State tags may be purchased at Sperryville Corner Store and county windshield stickers are acquired from the Treasurer’s office in Washington. Registration cards must be stamped by Mrs. Roberta Spalding, Commission of Revenue before tags may be purchased from Robert L. Brown, Treasurer. To avoid delay or waiting in line, secure your tags before the last minute.
