An Easter memory of Charles K. Jenkins, better known as Charlie Boot Jenkins.
Another Easter is here, granddaddy, and you are no longer here with us to enjoy it; but although you aren’t I’ll remember you as when you were here with us, and granddaddy, I not only remember you on these holidays but I’ve thought of you every day since you left us two years ago, because it seems like only yesterday that Jesus came down and called you on to be with Him and now you are continuing to enjoy your holidays and every day with Him and I’ll just hope and pray that I’ll meet up there with you to enjoy all our holidays and everyday together as we once did down here. Happy, happy Easter to a loving grandfather.
