Next Sunday, June 20, is Father’s Day. It is a day set apart Lo pay honor to our fathers. As with mothers, some might not deserve too much honor; but let us honor them anyway. Some of us can only honor them in memory.
Since some of us cannot claim Ihe title, father, let us consider man. In Wordsworth’s Ode of Immortality he states; “The child is father of the man.” In that sense we can all be fathers, how many of us are satisfied with the manchild into which we have grown?
