In Genesis 1:27 we find this statement; “So God created man in His own image, male and female he created him.” Later He divided the sexes, but He seems to have left a small portion of each sex in the other. There is a built-in need for the other. For ages there has been a certain rivalry between the sexes, one contends that the male is superior, while the ladies (and rightly so) contend they are. But why this contention, each is part of a whole. Longfellow expresses his views this way:
“As unto the bow the cord is, So unto the man is woman, Though she draws him, yet she follows;
Useless each without the other.”
Some say that man is a polygamous animal, a carry-over from primitive times, when the strongest male in the tribe took over the whole tribe of women. Man, that is some, have grown
