SV&lM ^wimmujg, soft ball, nature studies, hiking and dancing, to mention a few. Cost of camp is $15.00. If interested in attending camp, please contact the County Extension office at 6753619.
A summer 4-H session for those girls who were in the Sixth and Seventh Grades this past year will have its first meeting at the Flint Hill Fire Hall on June 17th at 1:00 p.m. Mothers are also invited to attend. Classes forming for this group will be taught by Mrs. Joseph Scherschel and will include cooking, art-needlework and interior decorating. Also, forming will be a group for candy stripe volunteers to work in the hospital and nursing homes. Girls interested in this group must be 14 years old and older and have parents’ permission to join this group. The meeting on the 17th of June will be the first cooking lesson and each girl is asked to please bring 2 carrots and 2 medium new potatoes. If any girls are interested but unable to attend the first meeting, please eall the Extension Office (675-3619) so your name can be put on the mailing list for information and dates of meetings.
Summer Community 4-H Clubs will be starting next week. The projects will be decided upon by the members. The times and places are as follows:
