6 Amissville increased her lead1 during the week by winning two more victories. In other action,! Village split two games while Charted won once and LanePenncarva extended her losing to six games in a row.

led a come from behind 12-10| victory over Lane-Penncarva as he hit a homer and a triple and drove in five runs. Bobby Carter was the winning pitcher, Lee Wright the loser. The game was played at St. John’s in Warrenton. Meanwhile at Amissville, Village beat Viewtown 9-6 as John Holmes won over Gene Dodson, Village was fortunate to have Richard Holmes who hit two homers. George Roff also homered for Viewtown.
Amissville stretched its un-1 beaten string to seven games on; Thursday night with a 17-5 victory ■ over Village. Amissville’s attack: was led by Tony Layman, Charley Burke and Ron Bowers with three hits apiece and Junior Pullen with four. Burke collected a double and' a home run among his trio of hits good for five runs batted in.
Jerry Burton went three for four with a double for Village.
Bobby Carter won for the second time during the week while John Holmes lost for Village.
Charted erupted for nine runs in the sixth to defeat LanePenncarva 11-1. The game was 2-1 until the sixth. It was the sixth straight defeat for newcomer, Penncarva.
