One of these charming young ladies will reign as queen of the Washington carnival following a coronation ceremony scheduled for tomorrow night (Friday). Competing for the title are Deborah Smoot, Sarah Clark, Nola Harper, Ella Mae Harper, Cil Davis and Judy Alther. The winning contestant will act as Honorary Fire Chief for Washington Fire Company and Rappahannock Rescue Squad for the coming year. The annual carnival got under way last night and continues through Saturday night when the awarding of prizes will climax festivities.
