D.D. Hudson
Dewey DeJarnette Hudson of Washington died March 11, 1972 at the University of Virginia Hospital. He was 73, a farmer, the son of the late Thaddeus and Mollie Hawkins Hudson.
He is survived by his wife, Madie Corder Hudson; five sons, Herndon C. Hudson, Edward B. Hudson, D. Whitfield Hudson, and Henry R. Hudson all of Washington and Granville G. Hudson of Flint Hill; four daughters, Mrs. Woodrow Coughlin of Castleton, Mrs. Thomas Williams of Flint Hill, Mrs. Fred Payne of Boston, and Mrs. Earl Yancey ofViewtown; 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild; and five sisters, Mrs. Bertha Gillingham of Alexandria, Mrs. Mattie Furr of Woodbridge, Mrs. Ethel Burner of Keyser, W.Va., Mrs. Almeda Armentrout of Hyattsville, Md., and Miss Rena Hudson of Washington D.C.
