Dog causes

an accident

No injuries resulted and no charges were made in a rear-end collision which occurred Sunday on Route 211 east of Sperryville.

According to Trooper W. A. Buntin, a 72 Chevrolet operated by James Paul Meadows of Elkton and a 68 Mercedes Benz driven by Henry Whiting of Win^ Chester were involved.

Meadows apparently "slowed to avoid striking a dog. Whiting was unable to stop and struck the Meadows vehicle in the rear.

Damage to the Mercedes was set at $700 and es-v timated at $400 to the Chevrolet. □
