The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries will hold its annual public hearing on game and fish laws March 24 in Richmond, says Executive Director Chester F. Phelps.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Commission’s conference room at 4010 West Broad Street. “A number of letters have been received covering such diverse subjects as early squirrel seasons, Sunday hunting, protection of the black bear and a year around trout season,” Phelps said.
All persons with recommendations to the Commission regarding hunting or fishing regulations for the upcoming season will be given an opportunity to speak at the public meeting. Persons unable to attend may send in their recommendations by mail and these will be considered by the Commission before final decisions are made.
