Rummage sale
Spring cleaning time is approaching, as well as time for the annual rummage sales sponsored by the ladies of the Washington Fire Company and Rappahannock Rescue Squad.
The sales begin this weekend, March 17 and 18, in the post office building basement at Washington. Hours of the sales are 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Articles no longer useful to the donor are acceptable for the rummage sales and are “vital to its success,” said one of the ladies. Articles may be left with Mrs. Charles Burke or Mrs. Jean Alther. □
